Mikio perked a brow. "Woah, woah, woah. And what makes you think I'll be serving alcohol to a minor, hmm?" He smirked, his Russian accent seeming surprisingly thick. He took another drink of his Moskovskaya before he dumped the rest in the sink, clicking his tongue in satisfaction. "It's either water or chocolate milk. Have your pick, Ms. Brooks," He smirked, teasing her.

"Awww come on, i drink casually." She frowned and then gave a small pout. "I hate water." She grumbled and sighed, glancing at the cat as she took another bite. "Oh and i'll walk home after i finish eating... since i won't beable to stay over.." She trailed off, taking another bite, swallowing it after a few chews.

Mikio rolled his eyes, closing the fridge. Well that was a hopeless case. He then sat back down across from her, starting to eat again. "Why? I thought you said your parents weren't home? They wouldn't notice if you stayed here and I drove you to school in the morning, would they?" He asked, tilting his head to the side lightly, then chewing on another forkful of pasta.

Nataline rolled her eyes in return. "You usually come to school when majority of the teachers arrive, so it will be pretty suspicious, for you to be dropping me off at school when we don't even live near eachother." She sighed and finished up her food before getting up and setting the plate down on the counter, nearly tripping over the cat. "You little...devil." She hissed, stepping over it.

Mikio pursed his lips, finishing up his food before bringing it to the sink. He looked down at the cat, then chuckled lightly. "She doesn't like you," he smiled, then began to wash the dishes. After a moment, he wiped his hands with the dishcloth and threw it to the counter, looking over at her. He had his arms folded over his chest, deep in thought. His normally emotionless face was plastered with concern. "True," he whispered, his voice low as he pondered the other reasons she wouldn't want to stay over. "It's either that or... I didn't realize that you regretted it that much, Ms. Brooks," His voice was faint, staring at the tiled floor before he turned his amber-eyed gaze up to her.

Her mouth popped open before she began to stutter. "N-no i-i loved it!" She covered her mouth, blinking a few times as she looked up at him. "Oh your evil." She whispered, "Making me feel bad..." She trailed off and huffed, turning so her back was facing him, arms folded across her chest.

Mikio watched her with a dumb founded expression before he burst into laughter. He walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her up against his body. "Am I, now?" He chuckled, resting his face on her shoulder. "You didn't seem to think so earlier," He whispered teasingly against her jaw before he pulled away, keeping his hands on her sides, smirking to himself.

She rolled her eyes and glared at the wall in front of her before she turned around and smiled sweetly up at him. "Well that was earlier, but that's the past," She smiled and pushed onto her toes to kiss him gently. "Do you think my clothing is ready? I don't want to be a lump on a log here.." Sh trailed off, glancing at the white cat that jumped onto the counter with a grunting meow.

Mikio smiled, kissing her back for a brief moment before he looked into her brown eyes with his own amber ones. "They aren't even done in the washing machine yet," He sighed, pulling his black hair from his eyes. "Be patient, sheesh. Unless your in a rush to leave," He raised an eyebrow, then leaned over and ran his hand through her damp hair, messing it up. His gaze turned to the cat who was glaring at them. He walked over to her and picked her up, instantly earning a loud purr.

"I'm not in a rush, it's just i don't like your cat" She grumbled, stepping back from him an the cat. "Normally i love cats, run to them and pick them up to snuggle them. But this one....yeah-no." She frowned, looking at the white purring cat. "It's like it's running a plan to destroy me in it's cunning brain, one that will make me slowly die a painful death for taking your attention from her." She imitated the males in the movie trailers or in dramatic scenes in a movie or show.

Mikio chuckled, stroking her white fur. "That's exactly what she's planning," he rolled his eyes, carrying the cat over to her cage in the living room. He put her in, then locked her up. "There, you don't have to worry about her anymore," Mikio smiled, walking back into the kitchen. He began to start washing the dishes, then drying them before putting them back in the cupboards.

The cat meowed for a good 10 minutes before it quieted, the entire time she felt obligated to help Mikio and ended up drying the dishes for him. She didn't protest, since she never did dishes before. That's one good reason for having parents around, they do stuff for you. she thought to herself as she opened up cupboards, trying to find the right place for this pan.

"AHAH!" she smiled triumphantly as she set the pot down with all the rest, then closed the cupboard and returned to drying the other dishes. This was the first time in awhile she was this happy, and it scared her slightly but not enough to think she should leave. She was actually quiet contempt on being happy for the night. She sighed softly and put the rest of the dried dishes away before turning to Mikio. "So...did you always want to be a teacher? You don't seem to be the teaching type."

Mikio rolled his eyes as she put away the dishes, but he stopped what he was doing when she asked him why he wanted to be a teacher. His eyes turned dark as he stared out the window, quickly stirring up an excuse. The real reason was because it was alot easier to gain his victims trust before... He quickly shook off the thought, then turned to her with a warm gaze, peering over his glasses with his arms crossed. "Well, I thought it was kind of pathetic that someone such as myself could speak English better then half of the people in this country, even though it's not my first language. This entire 'internet speak' exasperate's me. I decided that if I take it upon myself to teach student's the proper way to speak, maybe things would change. I'm also a grammar Nazi, and enjoy smacking student's who don't speak properly," He smirked, winking as he dried off his hands. "Thanks for your help," He cooed. The dishes were all done now.

"Leik, O-M-G that's sooo fascinating!" She made her voice go high and she flipped her hair away from her shoulder before she bursted out laughing, clutching her stomach. "Yeah i hate those people too," She smiled lightly as she tossed the drying rag onto the counter lightly. "Especially when they start writing-on assignments- like that." She rolled her eyes and sighed.

Mikio sighed, turning his gaze back to the sink. He leaned over it, his head looking down the drain. He pursed his lips, pulling his hand through his hair. "Why am I even telling you this?" He whispered, his voice soft. "You probably don't care. I'm just an old man, ranting about todays youth," Mikio chuckled lightly, then turning to look at her.

"Your not old! what are you, like.. 26? You would be classified by old if you had wrinkles, grey hair or grey showing.. and sagging skin. Your like, the total opposite. And i agree with you on the internet grammar. You should be glad one person doesn't do that." She sighed and flicked his forehead like she did all the other times at school. "So don't go all emo on me, calling yourself old."

Now I feel like that ranting one... She thought as she caught her breath. She had said that whole rant in one breath and was now regretting it as she took a few deep breaths and cleared her throat.

Mikio automatically frowned deeper. "I have wrinkles here," He commented, pointing to his furrowed eyebrows. There was obvious crease lines from how often he scowled. He then looked at the ground coldly, fake pouting. "And I'm only twenty-four......." He murmured, frowning as he looked back up at her. "I'm not twenty-six! You do agree with me! You're saying I look closer to thirty then I do to twenty?!" He gasped, pretending to be offended.

She squeaked lightly and flung her arms around his neck, clinging to him. "I didn't mean to offend you!" She frowned and snuggled against him. "I'm sorry!!" Her voice was muffled by his neck. She felt extremley bad for offending him. "I'm sorry kurosawa-sensei!" She pouted.

"You should be," Mikio whispered teasingly, "Or I'll fail you. And you'll have to deal with me for another semester," He smirked, pressing his lips to her temple, kissing her gently. He felt comfortable around her, which was strange. He wasn't used to having this kind of relationship with other people. It was only his cat that he was close too...

"Oh that's not too bad." She whispered playfully, smiling lightly but still keeping her arms around his neck. She sighed blissfully, her heart hammering in her chest. Why am i so happy around him? So calm and more cheerful? She frowned, closing her eyes slowly. What's happening? Am i falling.....?

"I'll make it bad," Mikio whispered, keeping his lips at her ear. He placed his hands on her shoulders, his eyes half lidded as they remained close. "I'll force you to come early to school every single morning and force you to read every novel in existence. And after school I'll make you write pages and pages of notes on grammar, until you fall to your knees, begging 'Sensei... sensei... I can't take this anymore... I'm sorry...' but even then, I'll tie you to the chair and read Shakespeare to you, and by the time you leave to go home, you'll be speaking in Old English and no one will understand you except me," His voice was calm and teasing as he stroked her hair.

"I like Shakespeare though.." She whispered, her breath lightly ticking his neck. "And you wouldn't fail your top student would you?" She teased, not even knowing if she was the top student in the class, seeming as it's only been a day or two of school.

Mikio smiled as he kept his lips against her ears. "You wouldn't by the time I'm done with you. And oh, I would," He smiled, his hands sliding down her arms and around her waist as he held her close to him. He sighed, burying his face into her neck, inhaling her sweet scent. He didn't want to talk anymore, but just remain silence.

She made a noise in her throat the resembled a humming laughing, tightening her arms around his neck. She felt relaxed, free, and safe in his arms, something she has never felt before, never in her entire night; until now.

Mikio smiled as Nataline hugged him. He pulled away slightly, frowning to himself. He heard the beeping of the washing machine. He quickly walked into the laundry room and slipped her clothes into the dryer. He turned it on and stood there for a moment. This is ridiculous, He whispered to himself, why am I acting like this?
Mikio shrugged off the thought and walked back into the kitchen. He grabbed his vodka bottle then walked into the living room, sitting in the recliner as he lit up a cigarette. "You still have to wait an hour before I drive you home," He chimed, taking a long drag before blowing a ring of smoke into the air. "So go be a teenager, and do your teenager things. I'll end up boring you so much you'll wither in the spot."
