Mikio heard the second bell ring and he sighed. He flipped his hair out of his face and walked over to the door, closing it before walking back to his podium. He took in a deep breath then looked around, waiting for the class to grow quiet. When it finally did, he smiled, walking to the center of the classroom. "Good morning, class," He cooed, his voice monotone. "Please pull out last nights homework.~ I'll be coming around to check it. Also, open your textbooks to page twenty and begin reading," Mikio explained as he grabbed his clipboard and pen, slipping it behind the ear with the dangling diamond cross earring.

"Since when was there homework." Nataline blurted out, almost purposely, just to get the students paranoid and it worked. "I don't recall you giving homework." She said this as she flipped open to her notes and homework that she had done, making sure to hide it from the student beside her as he looked around nervously, then down at his blank paper.

Obviously he forgot. I wonder how many other students did. She scanned the class, barley moving her head.

Mikio pursed his lips as he flipped his book open to the class list. He began to go around the classroom, checking the students assignments. Nearly no one completed them except for Nataline. He sighed when he got to her desk, putting a check mark by her name. "Funny how little miss 'There was no homework' was the only student who completed the assignment," He sighed, rubbing his forehead as he walked back to his desk and put the clipboard down. "Now read," He snapped, frustration in his voice. Some of the students nearly jumped from their seats, quickly doing what he said.

Even Nataline jumped at his voice, but didn't move to flip her book open. She already red the entire chapter, and didn't need to read it again. She sighed and smiled faintly, closing her book and looking out the window.

Mikio stretched out before he sat down at his desk and typed a few things up. After twenty minutes passed, he stood up and began to write notes down on the board, instructing the students to copy them down. He made the students write pages and pages of notes as punishment for failing to complete the homework. Class rolled by slowly, but eventually the bell rang. The students nearly flew from their seats and ran out the door, spilling into the hallway and running to their next classes. Mikio sighed, then erased the notes from the board and got ready for his next class, not looking up.

Through out the entire class Nataline did nothing, her notes she made already out. When the bell rang she slowly packed up her things into her bag and walked down the small flight of stairs, stretching lightly as she made her way to the door.

Mikio looked up, noticing Nataline was still here. He rolled his eyes, then began to scribble a few things down, students from his next class starting to enter.

Nataline dodged a few people as the walked in, and was just about clear from the door when a tall student, who she recognized as a jerk who flipped a poor and helpless child upside down and dumped him of his pockets not to long ago according to a group of girls she over heard in the study room the other day. The boy pushed his way through, shoving Nataline against the wall after she stumbled.

"The fuck do you think you are?!" Nataline yelled at him and she straightened her clothing. The boy turned, looking at her with sharp eyes. "I wouldn't start little girl." He made his voice sound like he was talking to a five year old who didn't understand a word.

Mikio could hear Nataline screaming from down the hall and he rolled his eyes again. She seems so sweet... but yet... Mikio muttered to himself as he heard the second bell ring. He walked over to the door and shut it. The class went by fairly quickly, lunch time soon rolling in. He dismissed the class quickly, happy to have silence. When the class was empty he shut the door and turned off the lights, retreating to his desk as he put his feet up with a sigh. He closed his eyes, relaxing. He then remembered Nataline's comment from the day before and frowned. She had said that he probably spent most of his time in the dark at his desk, marking papers. Sadly, that was true. He shrugged it off and pulled his hair from his eyes. He didn't like the fact that Nataline was constantly on his mind, it bothered him. Why was she so different then any other of his students, aside from the fact they slept together?
Well I guess that is a pretty big difference...
But still! It wasn't like that was the first time he'd slept with one of his students. He, however, was capable of mind wiping. That's what he had done to every other student, but why didn't he do it to her? Why did he want her to remember? Mikio pursed his lips, remembering that it had been a good few months since he had last preyed on someone. He was going to have to do that soon, but not on Nataline. Her lips were sweet, but he would never forgive himself if he feasted upon her. But why?
Mikio shrugged the thought off, pulling his bottle of vodka from the desk. He quickly popped the cap and took a long drink before putting it back. Fuck this. Why am I so god damn confused? and why can't I get her off my mind...?

Nataline was tapping her pencil at the lunch table, contemplating whether she should visit Mikio or leave him be. She sighed when she began to grow bored and she got up, walking towards the english room. She was about to knock but her hand froze at mid knock. Why do I constantly think about him? Why do I care about him? It makes no sense but yet.... She sighed then let her hand drop.

Mikio decided that he should probably buy himself lunch. He got up, putting his keys in his pocket as he walked towards the door. He unlocked it quickly and swung it open, only to hear a loud thunk. He peeked out of the door only to see Nataline laying on the ground, clutching her nose. He gasped, quickly looking around to make sure no one saw before he grabbed her and pulled her into the classroom. "Jesus!" Mikio snapped, his amber eyes wide in alarm. "Why were you just standing there?!"

The sudden impact caught her off guard, and also being pulled into the classroom. "I was just going to knock" Her voice sounded nasally as she clutched her nose, blood beginning to drip from her nostril. "Shit. Do you have kleenex or something?" SHe said quickly as she covered her nose. Nataline's nose has always been sensitive, to the point that she was immune to the pain whenever it was hit, even though it did bleed.

Mikio pursed his lips as he rushed and grabbed a Kleenex box. He gave it to her then picked her up in his arms and carried her over to the chair at his desk and sat her down, then kneeling in front of her. "Then why didn't you? How long were you standing there?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked up at her with a worried gaze.

"Like.. 2 minutes" She grumbled and she grabbed a kleenex and pressed it to her nose, it immediately being covered in blood. She tossed that one in the garbage and grabbed another one, repeating that same thing over until the bleeding stopped. She quickly whipped her hands of blood and sighed.

Mikio watched her with a frown, wondering why on earth she would be standing at the door for two minutes. "Why were you standing there? You need something?" He asked, grabbing a kleenex and dabbing a blood spot on her face that she missed.

Nataline went silent for a moment before she cleared her throat, but grew silent again. "I...i uhh....I don't know..." She whispered, casting her eyes down to the ground. "I just wanted to see you....but...." She sighed, not raising her gaze. What am I trying to say?! Why didn't i knock earlier?!?

Mikio smiled, tossing the tissue into the garbage and looking up at her. He stood up slowly. "You wanted to see me? Why?" He asked, tilting the head to the side slowly like usual as he examined her curiously.

She shrugged, bringing her gaze up to look at him. "I just wanted to." She whispered, looking down at her hands again. What the fuck is wrong with me? She hissed in her mind as she looked back up at him. She slowly stood up herself then pressed her lips against his for a brief moment before pulling away and stepping back.

Mikio smiled weakly. "I see, and why is that? You want extra homework or something?" He added with a wink before he reached to pull a stray strand of hair from Nataline's face. Her cheeks were a slight shade of pink, it was amusing.

She closed her eyes tightly before she kissed him once more then rested her forehead on his chest. "I don't know what's wrong with me." She whispered, not even thinking before she spoke. "I'm always different around you. I could barley think of insults in English class for heaven's sake!" She whispered, gripping his shirt lightly. "What's wrong with me?" She asked, knowing he probably didn't have an answer.

Mikio sighed, wrapping his arms around her as he pulled her into his chest. He pressed his lips to her forehead as they stood in silence for a moment. "I think..." he faded off, trying to find the right words. He then smirked, closing his eyes as he clutched her tightly. "You're in love with me," He murmured, the words sounding surprisingly odd rolling off his tongue.

Nataline grew silent, her eyes wide. She gripped his shirt tightly, biting her lip hard.

He's right.....God is he right....

"Would that....Be a bad thing?" She whispered as she finally raised her head up, looking at him. "Would it be bad..If i was in love with you?" Her voice shook lightly, not use to saying those words.

I hope it wouldn't be.

Mikio was quiet as he listened to Nataline stutter over her words. He didn't know what to say, he just held her close. He took in a deep breath. "Yes, it would be," He started, "because I'm a teacher, your a student. You should be in love with someone your own age," He whispered, pulling away slightly as he looked down at her with a concerned gaze.

His words were true, but the hurt. I've been rejected. she whispered to herself as she felt tears begin to well up in her eyes. She quickly wiped them again but more just formed and she cursed. "I'm sorry..." She whispered, stepping way from him. "I shouldn't have come."

"No!" Mikio exclaimed, grabbing her wrist and forcing her to meet his gaze. He slid his other hand under her chin and looked at her with amber eyes. "I slept with you, I kiss you, I hug you, I comfort you. Do you think I feel nothing for you? Don't be stupid," He whispered, hugging her again.
