Kiku rolled his eyes at his growl. "Ohhhh, intimidating. My legs are buckling," He grumbled sarcastically, then remained silent for a moment. Then, Kiku couldn't help but burst out laughing. They were being completely ridiculous, bickering at each other like a eighty year old couple. He followed him, still chuckling to himself. "And to answer your question, theres a reason I wear my damn coat, thank you very much," Kiku scoffed when he had finally stopped laughing, only to start laughing again.

"Why the hell are you laughing?!" Kiyoshi snapped as he glared at him. He felt like such a child right now, with his morning attitude, but it couldn't be helped as they walked down the streets. He was starving so he would have to steal from the markets again.

Kiku still chuckled. "Nothing, sorry," he cooed, sticking his hands in his pockets and he followed him outside. He could tell Kiyoshi was defiantly not a morning person, but neither was he.

Kiyoshi glared and looked around, seeing no one around he quickly changed to a dog and trotted ahead, finding everything annoying at the moment.

Kiku scoffed. "You want to play that game, huh?" He grumbled, then took in a deep breath. "Here puppy, puppy, puppy!!" He screamed after him, the birds perched on nearby buildings squawking and flying away. He grinned. He loved having a voice that could reach whatever pitch he wanted. He abused his abilities as a banshee, using them to only his own entertainment.

Kiyoshi yowled and dropped to the ground, covering his ears with his paws as he changed back to him laying on the ground with his arms flung over his head. He growled and snarled at kiku, his ears ringning

Kiku laughed, walking up to him and helping him up. "You'll be okay," he smiled.

Kiyoshi whined and pulled away from him, keeping his arms covered as he began to walk again. "Glad your in a better mood!" He hollered behind him as he walked, his ears still ringing horrible. "cuz ya know.. MY EARS NOW FUCKING HURT!!" he screeched, glaring ahead of him

"Oh come on," He snapped back, not liking Kiyoshi's nasty tone. But he didn't really blame him. He sped up his pace to catch up to him, then rested his hands gently on his shoulders. "You'll be fine, now uncover your ears," he whispered, making his tone soothing and almost angelic. Banshees were mostly only known for their wretched screaming, but they also had beautiful and soothing voices as well.

Kiyoshi heard his soothing tone and slowly lifted his hands from his ear and to his sides, slowing his pace as he glanced over his shoulder at kiku. "What's with the voice all of a sudden?" he whispered, smacking his ears to stop them from ringing.

"It soothes headaches and helps relax you," He murmured softly, pulling Kiyoshi's hand from his ear and holding it in his own, squeezing it tightly. He began to hum, his tone still soft and sweet. He felt bad for making Kiyoshi's ears burn.

Kiyoshi closed his eyes and let his body relax lightly, feeling soothed by kiku's humming as they walked towards the markets. He sighed softly, hearing the ringing in his ears began to slow.

"See, there. Not so bad now is it?" He smiled, his voice returning to normal. He then pulled his hand away and slid it back in his pocket with a sigh.

Kiyoshi's hand felt cold when kiku pulled his hand away. He sighed softly and slid his hands in his pockets. "Want anything to eat?" he whispered as they came up to the market entrance

"I thought you said you didn't have any money?" Kiku asked softly, his voice shading before his lips turned into a smug smirk. He walked off to the side, grabbing Kiyoshi's wrist and bringing him with him. "Can you transform into like, an eagle or something and go pick food up from the stands? Then come back and give it to me? You can make multiple laps if you'd like," Kiku smirked.

"Magpie is more practical." He smirked and let his hand go. He shifted into a magpie and flew up, lightly picking kiku's hood up on his coat before letting go and flying off. He circled around the food market and snatched a bag from a lady that had several fruits and meats in it. He circled back to kiku and plopped the bag down.

Kiku smirked as the bag was dropped into his hands. He caught in, then examined the insides. He smirked up at Kiyoshi. This was really cool.

Kiyoshi circled around the market, seeing the angered and frustrated woman from before. He smiled to himself and cawed before swooping down and snatching another bag. THis one full of candy and two bottles of water. He circled back around to kiku and slowly lowered, setting the bag down before returning to his human Spirit.

"So. WHat do you think? I'm pretty handy, ne?"

"Indeed," Kiku smiled. "Now lets get out of here quickly," his tone turned serious again as he began to run off down the alleyway between two large buildings. He felt his adrenaline run high, pumping through his veins. He could defiantly get used to living like this.

Kiyoshi grabbed the bags and ran after Kiku, making sure to stay close to him. "We're leaving the city right!" he called over the rustling debri that crumpled under his feet and the crash can he bumped into as h was dodging another one

"That would be a good idea!" Kiku shouted back at him, making sure his voice didn't turn painful. He laughed hard as he saw Kiyoshi crash into a trash can. When the reached the end of an alley way, they approached a small road. "Should we take a bus?" Kiku asked curiously, then remembering they didn't have money. He cursed under his breath, then looked inside the bag and scrimmaged around. He smiled as he found a wallet, opening it up and finding multiple hundred dollar bills. "Oh, fuck yes," He grinned, pulling one bill out and waving it in front of Kiyoshi's face. "We should take a bus out of here," he suggested.

"oooo i hit the jackpot!" He laughed hard and caught up to kiku, limping slightly from when his hip hit the garbage can. He took the wallet and looked through it. "Fucking yes.. I got lucky!" He grinned, handing the wallet back to Kiku.

Kiku grinned hard, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him into a tight hug, burying his face in his neck.. When he realized what he was doing, his cheeks turned pink. He pulled away, looking at Kiyoshi with a flustered expression. "Sorry," he apologized quickly, then smiled at him again. "Good-job,"

"n-no. It's okay." He moved to hug back but Kiku had already pulled away. He sighed and shook his head lightly then smiling at him. "Come on, let's get to that bus stop. It should be close to here, just in the city." He smiled still.

Kiku smiled weakly. "Alright," he murmured softly. He took Kiyoshi's hand, and held it softly. He saw a bus stop across the street. He pulled him across the road after making sure there was no vehicles coming When they got there, Kiku sat on the bench. He pulled Kiyoshi down beside him and sighed. He couldn't help but feel happy. Happy to meet Kiyoshi. Happy this had happened to him. He rested his head on Kiyoshi's shoulder, closing his eyes lightly as they waited.
