"Get back here! I'll make you pay for this!"
Tsuki smirked, and turned the corner and ran into a dark alley, with a bag of fresh bread in one arm and an expensive vase in the other, ignoring the shopkeeper's threats. He kept running, moving between empty alleys and streets to avoid attention from others. He finally reached his destination, a run down shack which seemed completely abandoned. He swiftly looked behind him making sure no one was there, and walked up to the door, and swiftly knocked on it.
"Who's there?" a harsh, raspy voice answered.
"It's me. I have the vase you wanted," Tsuki replied calmly.
The door swung open, exposing a dirty looking elderly man wearing the shabbiest of clothing.
"Are you going to sell the vase to buy new clothing?" Tsuki said rudely, staring at the man.
The man grunted and shoved Tsuki inside, quickly closing the door.
The smell of body odor and cigarrete smoke filled the air, making Tsuki feel nauseous.
"It's none of your business," the man snapped, and spied the bag of bread, snatching it out of Tsuki's arms.
"I didn't get that for you," Tsuki said annoyed.
"Well I'm letting you stay here for the night aren't I? You can just steal another one later." The old man grinned, showing yellow teeth with many missing. "Whatever," Tsuki said, not wanting to argue. He only wanted to sleep. He was about to lay on the beat down couch, until the man grabbed his arm.
"I need you to get me something else."
"Not right now, I'm tired as hell."
"You get it right now or you're never getting that cat back."
Cat? Did he mean..Minx? Tsuki thought for a moment, then his eyes suddenly widened. Why didn't he realize.. his cat wasn't with him while he shoplifted the bread and vase..
"Where is she?" he growled.
"You get this locket, and I'll give your feline to you," The man grinned, handing a folded, crumpled piece of paper to Tsuki.
Tsuki glared at him and snatched the paper, quickly unfolding it. It was a picture of a silver heart-shaped locket with a sapphire sealed to it in its middle.
"Alright," Tsuki said knowing he had no choice now. He had never killed anyone, and never dared to, but he knew it would be too far to look for another person's house to stay at.
"Excellent," the man chuckled a wheezy laugh then gave Tsuki directions on where to go.
"Now hurry," he added coughing. "You wouldn't want something bad to happen to that cat would you?"
Tsuki said nothing, and rushed out of the nauseous house, into the night. Why did the old geezer need the vase and necklace anyway..?

Hasashi wandered around downtown, his bandaged hands shoved in the pockets of his baggy jeans. His pet hedgehog, Mukuro, was perched on his shoulder. Hasashi felt around in his pocket, only finding a few pennies and dimes. He sighed, knowing that he needed to go pick pocketing again. He hadn't eaten a good meal since yesterday, and he was starting to slow down. He walked into the market place, shuffling into the huge crowd of people swarming around a stall giving away some useless, free merchandise. He slowly walked up behind a woman, slipping his hand very gently into her purse. He felt around, snatched a wallet, then yanked it out. He slipped it into his pocket, then continued his way through the crowd. There was an elderly man bent over the table, trying to reach a certain item. Hasashi leaned forward, sliding his hand into his back pocket and grabbing the obvious bulge of a wallet that was there. He quickly walked off, and continued to do this for a while. Once Hasashi had taken four more wallets, he began to pick through them. In total, he had collected over a hundred dollars in bills and change. Hasashi smirked to himself, then walked over to the bread stand. He bought a loaf, then smuggled some fruit into his bag. He left the market place then, and sat in the alley. He took a bite of an apple, nearly devouring it in seconds. He gave a few pieces of bread to Mukuro, then ate the rest of the loaf himself. He sat there, watching the people walk by stare at him. Of course, he was a bit out of place, which wasn't good for a thief like himself. Despite all the stealing of food and useless items, there was only thing he really wanted. It was this necklace, with a market price of over seventy thousand. If he managed to snatch that, he would be set. He pulled out a folded piece of paper from his pants, then stood up. "Ready Muku?" Hasashi smiled, setting the hedgehog on top of his hat. "Let's get rich."

Tsuki rubbed his eyes, tired and hungry, reminded by his growling stomach. The necklace in the picture looked so familiar...not like it would be any importance to him anyway. He just needed money to live off of and he was set. He dragged himself, remembering which directions to take. Turn right here, go over this bridge, go between those stores.. he was already far from the old man's house, how much further was the necklace? After more directions, he finally reached a tall, fancy looking building. It looked out of place in a town like this. He shrugged and walked to the entrance. He paused, noticing security guards blocking the entrance. He sighed and entered into the building, knowing he'd be able to smuggle it somehow.

Hasashi wandered around the alley way for a bit before he arrived to the heart of downtown. There was this one huge building, fancy and well cared for. It stuck out like a sore thumb. Hasashi laughed lightly to himself. "Like stealing candy from a baby,' He muttered, then cracked his knuckles as he approached it. He saw some guards standing at the front, and didn't want to take his chances. He slowly made his way to the back of the building, then snuck into the yard. There was a long trail of vines leading up the side of the building to a window. He sighed again, then yanked his bandages from his hands to give his hands more grip. He didn't even look down at the sickly, scarred skin on his hands. He just began to climb. He did it quickly, before any of the vines broke. He swung himself over to the window, but it was locked. He grumbled something incoherent before he pulled off the bandage completly. He rolled it out, and it glowed silver before forming into a huge cleaver. He lifted it up, then used the handle to bust the window. The glass shattered instantly, caving in. Hasashi jumped inside, being careful not to land in the glass scattered on the floor. He looked around, finding himself in a hallway. He frowned, then began to slowly look around. He kept one cleaver out, dragging on the floor lightly.

Tsuki walked around, ignoring stares from the people inside. He was looking around and spot an elevator and was about to arrive to it until he was suddenly interrupted by a random girl. She was wearing a conservative uniform, her brown hair was in a messy bun, and she looked no younger than seventeen. "Hi!" she said obviously ogling at him. Tsuki glared at her, trying to avoid her. "Are you looking for a certain something?" she giggled, pulling her hair behind her ears. She must be new.. Tsuki thought annoyed as she followed him as he walked away. He quickly strode to the elevator pressing the button to go up. It was clear she did not get the memo to leave. "I'm fine, thank you," Tsuki said in a cold tone, not looking at her. "No no, don't be shy, it's my duty to help you!" Is she stupid...? Tsuki thought wanting to pull out a knife and threaten her away. The elevator's doors opened and quickly hurried inside. The girl tried to get in as well but Tsuki quickly jammed a button, and the doors swiftly closed in her face. Tsuki sighed in relief and leaned against the back wall of the elevator as it started to move up. When the doors opened he walked out, trying to look the least suspicious. It was impossible though, since he stuck out like a sore thumb in such a luxurious building. He hummed to himself, hands in his pockets, looking around for a sign of the necklace.

Hasashi wandered around a bit, admiring how nice the building was. Hasashi didn't fit in at a place like this, but no one seemed to notice anything out of the ordinary. Idiots... Hasashi grumbled to himself, pulling his hair from his forehead and tucking it underneath his hat. Eventually, he found a room with gigantic doors. He blinked, walking over to them. He put his cleaver down on the floor as he opened the door, then picked it up again. He walked inside, then looked around. There was tons of expensive looking jewlerry lining the walls in expensive looking cases. He looked to the very middle of the room, seeing one that stood out. He pulled out the picture of the item he was supposed to take, then compared them. He smirked. It was a match! Hasashi quickly walked over to it, then began to pick at the lock with his long finger nails.

Tsuki walked around calmly, looking at all of the glass cases. He kept on walking, a bit annoyed now. There were so many... how would he tell which one he needed? He looked around until he spied one glass case that stood out from the rest. It stood in the middle, and was the biggest. He noticed a man was standing in front of it, and sneaked up to the case. He quietly pulled out a piece of paper, and unfolded it, looking at the picture, then looking inside the case. It was a perfect match! He smirked, then looked at the man then down at the stranger's hands. He was picking the lock to the case! Tsuki glared at him, then looked around. He hummed silently as he pulled chains out of his pants pocket, knowing that even if they were a bit heavy, they would be in use in the most unexpected times. He swiftly spun the man around, and without looking at him kneed him in his nuts. He hurriedly tied the chains around the man's wrists, and then around the bottom stool under the glass case, securing the chains tightly. He immediately kicked the glass box, shattering it into pieces. Not more than a second later, loud alarms went off, ringing loudly. Tsuki quickly snatched the necklace, shoved it in his pocket, and then quickly snuck away, while security came. He didn't look back, paying no attention to the man he chained to the box. If he snitches which he might as well do, I'll have to hide my face better.. after all this is a high class place with security.. I can just worry about that later, he thought, making his way into the elevator, quickly closing it behind him. Everything had gone so smoothly, something bad was bound to happen. Or maybe it was just his lucky day?

Hasashi gasped, letting out a loud wail as he was suddenly wacked in the crotch. Without thinking, he grabbed the cleaver he was still holding and swung it, smashing the chain off and breaking one arm free. The other arm was attatched to the table, but he didn't care. He turned around, finding that the necklace had been stolen. He frowned, then saw a man turning the corner of the room. He snarled, holding his cleaver with one hand. He ran after him, the table dragging behind him. "Hey! Who do you think you are?" Hasashi yelled after him, running down the hallway. He saw him run into an elevator, and he cursed. He quickly ran to the ledge that peered over to the lower floor and jumped over it, landing on his butt with the table smashing as it came into contact with the floor. He only had a single piece of wood dragging behind him now. Of course, he had tons of attention on them now. Hasashi stormed over to the elevator, that had just reached the floor. He stormed into it, yanking the man by the arm before wacking him in the forehead with the large chunk of wood dangling from his arm. He quickly snatched the necklace from his arms, then hit him in the shin, making him fall over. Hasashi quickly ran from the building, running down the street as fast as he could. Not only security would be chasing him, but that scary mofo as well.

Tsuki stepped out, as soon as the doors slid open, not expecting to be suddenly hit on the forehead with a plank of wood. Before he could figure out what was happening he was suddenly kicked in the shins, and fell back onto the floor. He quickly looked up to see who kicked him, and saw the man he had chained earlier now running away. He looked, now realizing the necklace was gone.. Tsuki cussed angrily, and immediately got up to his feet, ignoring sharp pains from his head and shin. He started sprinting after the man, until he caught up with him. "Don't think you can get away with that necklace, it's mine," he glared at the man, not able to see much of his face. He looked behind him, to see security hurrying after them. "Listen, how about we get away from security, then we can settle this," he said to the man, hoping he would agree.
